As we continue to grow and evolve, we are on the lookout for a Kubernetes Expert to join our team. This role is crucial for enhancing our infrastructure's scalability, reliability, and efficiency, ensuring that our applications are seamlessly deployed and managed across our global operations.

Responsibility

  • Cluster Management: Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters that are secure, scalable, and highly available. Ensure optimal performance and resource utilization across all environments.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with the development and operations teams to integrate Kubernetes into our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, facilitating automated testing and deployment of applications.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions for Kubernetes clusters to ensure they are performing optimally. Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues, minimizing downtime and improving user experience.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure Kubernetes clusters comply with industry standards and security protocols. Implement security best practices for container orchestration, including network policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and secrets management.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation on cluster architecture, deployment processes, and best practices. Provide training and support to development and operations teams to enhance their Kubernetes skills.
  • Innovation and Optimization: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in container orchestration and Kubernetes. Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve the deployment, scaling, and management of applications.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in a production environment.
  • Strong background in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, monitoring, and automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their integration with Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of network principles and security protocols as they relate to Kubernetes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues spanning multiple systems and environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on knowledge sharing and best practices.
