This role is pivotal in enhancing our product's language processing capabilities and ensuring our communications are culturally and linguistically appropriate for our global audience.

Responsibility

• Language Model Development: Collaborate with our AI and product teams to develop and refine our natural language processing (NLP) models. Ensure these models understand and generate human-like text, catering to diverse languages and dialects.
• Cultural Sensitivity and Localization: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure all communications are culturally relevant and respectful. Assist in localizing our product and marketing materials for different regions, considering linguistic nuances and cultural contexts.
• Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in linguistics and NLP. Conduct research to improve understanding of language use in different contexts and integrate findings into product development.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams and content creators, ensuring both language accuracy and technical feasibility in product features and marketing campaigns.
• Quality Control and Training: Oversee the linguistic quality of the product and marketing content. Provide training and guidelines to other teams on language use, including grammar, style, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze user feedback related to language and cultural aspects of the product. Report findings to relevant teams and recommend adjustments to improve user experience and engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in linguistics, particularly in computational linguistics, sociolinguistics, or related fields.
• Familiarity with NLP tools and technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret linguistic data.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in at least one language other than English.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to explore new linguistic territories.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
• Proficiency in using linguistic analysis tools and platforms.
